After having played for 6 minutes, Szczepan Siekierski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 40th minute, Enzo De Vecchis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Dudek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerzy Zieba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sporting Club Sicilia made a substitution. Carlo Colaneri replaced Enzo De Vecchis. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Sporting Club Sicilia. Amos Giusto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jerzy Dudek. 0-3. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Emanuele Danza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Dudek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 minutes of play, RKS Królewscy's Jerzy Zieba made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Gizzi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
