Gerardo Oinatz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Oinatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerardo Oinatz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gerardo Oinatz could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Santos Kiliz however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of GUSESI booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Paul took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Ilazki. Benigno Ilazki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, GUSESI's Florentino Paul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Ilazki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Isaac Urtungo hit a great ball. When Amancio Tallia came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Mainumby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Tallia couldn't finish the play. Armando Beltza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Santos Kiliz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Gerardo Oinatz sped through GUSESI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santos Kiliz. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Gerardo Oinatz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of GUSESI booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

But to his dismay, Gerardo Oinatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind GUSESI's goalkeeper Santos Kiliz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Conrado Nisio came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mainumby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Nisio couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mainumby fully deserved thier win.
