Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gianluca Scamacca kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Oinatz in the 3rd minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Federico Liberati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Conrado Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gerardo Oinatz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Mainumby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Oinatz couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes of play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Emanuele Danza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Ilazki was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Candido Cugat fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Candido Cugat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Cugat to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes, Bernardo Belardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Club Sicilia and the Mainumby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Federico Liberati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Nisio in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Sporting Club Sicilia defense, Gerardo Oinatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Liberati. The Sporting Club Sicilia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Liberati should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Danza came free, but Benigno Ilazki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Tallia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Gizzi in the 30th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluca Scamacca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Angelo Gizzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Ilazki. Mainumby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Gizzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 44th minute, Gerardo Oinatz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mainumby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Oinatz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mainumby's zone, Gianluca Scamacca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Ilazki came out of the goal and Gianluca Scamacca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benigno Ilazki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Gizzi in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Sporting Club Sicilia getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Armin Polo hit a great ball. Sporting Club Sicilia's Federico Liberati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Nisio in the 76th minute of play. Benigno Ilazki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuele Danza went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Benigno Ilazki was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Emanuele Danza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuele Danza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Benigno Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Danza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki got control of the ball when Gianluca Scamacca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gianluca Scamacca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Benigno Ilazki made a huge save. Benigno Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Gizzi in the 97th minute of play. 98 minutes into the game, Eusebio Fiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mainumby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Club Sicilia the free kick. In the 98th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Fiz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mainumby's zone, Amos Giusto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Ilazki came out of the goal and Amos Giusto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sporting Club Sicilia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
