If Szczepan Siekierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Sporting Club Sicilia got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Castellini. After 32 minutes, Daniel Siembab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RKS Królewscy and the Sporting Club Sicilia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sporting Club Sicilia booed when RKS Królewscy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Siembab didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sporting Club Sicilia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Flavio Scrima hit a great ball. Jerzy Zieba's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Sicilia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerzy Zieba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Jerzy Zieba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Gianluca Scamacca made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Sporting Club Sicilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Scrima to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Vitale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alfred Basaik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Danza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sporting Club Sicilia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Armando Falcioni hit a great ball. Gustaw Misiewicz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Flavio Scrima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Flavio Scrima put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Basaik. 82 minutes into the match, RKS Królewscy's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Scamacca came free, but Alfred Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Basaik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Danza in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Siekierski in the 86th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Federico Liberati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Gianluca Scamacca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
