When Olof Fribäck came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Asarum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Fribäck couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Andréas Johnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwo Biskupiak was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, Magnus Gunnarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asarum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Asarum fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Asarum's Olof Fribäck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Asarum getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bo Larsson hit a great ball.

Michel Duset came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kraków1983's Janusz Przybylo.
