Omar Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Afonso Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Cosa Nostra the free kick. Afonso Luz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Bittencourt in the 32nd minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Francisco Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Juventus EC's José Paulo Correia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed José Paulo Correia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juventus EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and José Paulo Correia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 45 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Romário da Rocha came free, but Francisco Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Geovânio Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when Juventus EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna got control of the ball when Casimiro Pacorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when Juventus EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Juventus EC from getting a goal against them. After 73 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Pacorro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Recife in the 75th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Francisco Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romário da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Berdoi having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Cosa Nostra walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
