Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) San Pablo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faustino Luke in the 7th minute. The corner led San Pablo FC's Faustino Luke to fire away a dangerous shot which Mateus de Senna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's Frederico Recife broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Juventus EC's Frederico Recife got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Juventus EC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Afonso Luz hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Isidoro Gaueko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Pablo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus EC the free kick. In the 19th minute, Isidoro Gaueko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20thth minute of the game Serafim Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Pablo FC's Benigno Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geovânio Barros hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Romário da Rocha's late challenge caught a San Pablo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romário da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Juventus EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Romário da Rocha scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Bernaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner ended in Frederico Recife almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Pablo FC's Benigno Bernaldo did a great save. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Isidoro Gaueko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 39 played minutes Juventus EC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Correia. 43 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Gaueko came free, but Mateus de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Gaueko to make the kick off. Isidoro Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafim Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Recife in the 59th minute of play forced San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Benigno Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes San Pablo FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Gaueko. Enéas Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Bernaldo having to interfere. Severiano Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Augusto Eutor kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Juventus EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
