Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Niceto Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Belo Academy's zone, Gaspar Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Eger came out of the goal and Gaspar Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Clementi took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Eger. Carlos Augusto Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Carlos Augusto Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Felipillo in the 20th minute of play. Niceto Pere made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rafael Passos sent off a good shot on target. After 23rd play minutes Vágner Sergipano shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Niceto Pere and just under the crossbar into goal. Niceto Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Sergipano in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Belo Academy booed when El ultimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Rubens Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belo Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El ultimo the free kick. The supporters of El ultimo booed when Belo Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belo Academy's Carlos Augusto Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Clementi in the 30th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Felipillo in the 31st minute of play. Niceto Pere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vágner Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 38th match minute, Belo Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Belo Academy defense, Benito Urbez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Eger. The Belo Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Augusto Eger should have stopped the shot. In the 42ndth minute of the game Gaspar Salomone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belo Academy's Carlos Augusto Eger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Clementi to make the kick off. During the 50th minute of the match Justo Clementi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Justo Clementi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Justo Clementi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Benito Urbez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Augusto Eger came out and tried to block the shot, but Benito Urbez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute Benito Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Felipillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carlos Augusto Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Santos Bertol put in a rough tackle. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El ultimo! Carlos Augusto Eger was a little too slow when Gaspar Salomone got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-5. Niceto Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
