Spectators: 7625 (Terracing: 5720, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) Bernabe Artizar made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th play minute Augustin Nechifor came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benigno Silbestre. 2-0. With a little luck, Esmeralda AFC's Benigno Silbestre got control of the ball when Augustin Nechifor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Nechifor in the 12th minute of play. With his leg Benigno Silbestre managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 15 minutes, Augustin Nechifor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Nechifor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Melquiades Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traian Roşu scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Silbestre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Gheorghe Vlăsiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traian Roşu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda AFC's Javier Hermelando got a free kick in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Esmeralda AFC defense, Augustin Nechifor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Silbestre. The Esmeralda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Silbestre should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Silbestre. That made the score 6-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Augustin Nechifor made the kick off in the second half. Nichifor Vergulescu scored 7-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Silbestre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Steaua Pildesti! When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, Esmeralda AFC's Melquiades Lamberto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Octavian Bogdănescu. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Augustin Nechifor put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benigno Silbestre. Benigno Silbestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Roşu in the 71st minute of the match. Augustin Nechifor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Silbestre having to interfere. Augustin Nechifor scored 9-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Silbestre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benigno Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Nechifor in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Roşu to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Augustin Nechifor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Benigno Silbestre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costin Iorgu's late challenge caught a Esmeralda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Iorgu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Iorgu to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Bernabe Artizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Bogdănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FC Steaua Pildesti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
