Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domingos Vilarinho kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Iorgu in the 4th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Rodolfo Seabra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Faria. After some careless play in the MEXACOMX defense, Augustin Nechifor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Seabra. The MEXACOMX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Seabra should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Iorgu came free, but Rodolfo Seabra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Nechifor in the 19th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Rodolfo Seabra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimas Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Seabra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Vlăsiu in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Candeias. In the 25thth minute of the game Augustin Nechifor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodolfo Seabra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Iorgu in the 28th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Seabra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Valer Uncheşelu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Augustin Nechifor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Nechifor in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Seabra saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Nechifor to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Augustin Nechifor took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Rodolfo Seabra to make any attempt to save it. MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Nechifor in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Candeias in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Bogdănescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Octavian Bogdănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Candeias went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Octavian Bogdănescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Vilarinho's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Quintino Horta's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintino Horta helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Quintino Horta hit a great ball. If Nichifor Vergulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save MEXACOMX from getting a goal against them. Costin Iorgu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Iorgu came free, but Rodolfo Seabra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quintino Horta hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save MEXACOMX from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Augustin Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Seabra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augustin Nechifor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Seabra made a huge save. FC Steaua Pildesti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
