Traian Roşu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without J.P. España having to interfere. Isaac Pantoja hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Augustin Nechifor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but J.P. España was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Augustin Nechifor hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Gerald Deulofeu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villawalter City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. J.P. España didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nichifor Vergulescu went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute Augustin Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.P. España saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led FC Steaua Pildesti's Traian Roşu to fire away a dangerous shot which J.P. España despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Costin Iorgu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Villawalter City getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Anxo Maestro hit a great ball. Villawalter City's J.P. España played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Iorgu in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Iorgu in the 62nd minute of play forced Villawalter City's goalkeeper J.P. España to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, FC Steaua Pildesti's J.P. España threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Costin Iorgu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. J.P. España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Roşu in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Villawalter City's Alirio Puyol got a free kick in the 70th minute. Traian Roşu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. J.P. España didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Steaua Pildesti. Octavian Bogdănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Garate, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. J.P. España made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Roşu in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Steaua Pildesti defense, Aritz Morales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavian Bogdănescu should have stopped the shot. After 88 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Vlăsiu. Villawalter City's J.P. España played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Iorgu in the 95th minute of play.
