Rodolfo Seabra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodolfo Seabra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Linhares in the 7th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Teixeira came free, but Rodolfo Seabra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If João Carlos Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Linhares notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra. Rodolfo Seabra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Domingos Vilarinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Seabra came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hortêncio Linhares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dimas Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If João Carlos Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra got control of the ball when Hortêncio Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, João Carlos Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTER FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MEXACOMX the free kick. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's João Carlos Teixeira got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Nuno Candeias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Maranhense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Torres to maneuver through the defense. Hortêncio Linhares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Seabra firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rodolfo Seabra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Carlos Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Rodolfo Seabra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. João Carlos Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Seabra having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MEXACOMX's zone, Mandi Oca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Seabra came out of the goal and Mandi Oca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Guerra during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of INTER FC booed when MEXACOMX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertinho Meireles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match, Hortêncio Linhares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodolfo Seabra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
