Lucas Gummeson started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, Hortêncio Linhares made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Carlos Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Malmö White Knights defense, Hortêncio Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petter Fransson. The Malmö White Knights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petter Fransson should have stopped the shot. The corner ended in Albertinho Meireles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson did a great save. 23 minutes into the match, Malmö White Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Linhares came free, but Petter Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petter Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandi Oca in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Rutger Delin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39thth minute of the game Hortêncio Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the game, INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petter Fransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hortêncio Linhares was the one to do the kick off. Ola Jakobsson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Albertinho Meireles struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Petter Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. In a very dangerous position, a player in INTER FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 59th minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Petter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Mandi Oca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Malmö White Knights's Rutger Delin got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Rutger Delin off the ground. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rutger Delin hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Mandi Oca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mandi Oca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Mandi Oca could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Petter Fransson however easily saved by the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Petter Fransson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mandi Oca. In the 86th minute, Mandi Oca made a precise shot to the right of Petter Fransson. Malmö White Knights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Mandi Oca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
