Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arturo Montiel started the match with the kick off. Johan Hedlund struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Leandro Candina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö White Knights. Petter Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Montiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Malmö White Knights's Melker Wenerdahl got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Terres in the 12th minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Petter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Terres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Petter Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Hedlund in the 18th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Leandro Candina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petter Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuberoa Mesia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Malmö White Knights defense, Zuberoa Mesia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petter Fransson. The Malmö White Knights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petter Fransson should have stopped the shot. Petter Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Terres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Candina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Hedlund in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Johan Hedlund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leandro Candina. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Hedlund in the 35th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Leandro Candina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Zuberoa Mesia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petter Fransson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 46 played minutes Club Deportivo Santiago got a freekick which was hit by Ursino Valls. Leandro Candina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Staffan Wallin in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Gummeson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Arturo Montiel from a close distance when the talented Petter Fransson managed to make a qualified save. Malmö White Knights's players were relieved. In the 54thth minute of the game Arturo Montiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petter Fransson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Montiel in the 55th minute. Petter Fransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zuberoa Mesia went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the game, Rutger Delin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malmö White Knights's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Santiago the free kick. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rutger Delin hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Arturo Montiel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petter Fransson. The goal made the score 1-4. Petter Fransson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Criales in the 68th minute. Johan Hedlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Malmö White Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Zuberoa Mesia came free, but Petter Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Petter Fransson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lucas Gummeson charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Gummeson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Robert Söderman hit a great ball. Xavies Hubieta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Petter Fransson made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Arturo Montiel notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson. Petter Fransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zuberoa Mesia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petter Fransson came out and tried to block the shot, but Zuberoa Mesia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Zuberoa Mesia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Petter Fransson, 1-7. Club Deportivo Santiago's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
