After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Sílvio Luiz da Cunha got a free kick in the 7th minute. Sílvio Luiz da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Rykaczewski came free, but J.P. España reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Villawalter City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Deulofeu to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Cyprian Rykaczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.P. España saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villawalter City's J.P. España played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz da Cunha in the 26th minute of play. Dedé Cunha hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Bernabel Lama sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Montrel skillfully saved the ball. Eulalio Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aritz Morales in the 31st minute of the match. Marco Rocha hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Bernabel Lama shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Montrel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald Deulofeu in the 35th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Eulalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Lauro Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Valadares's late challenge caught a Villawalter City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlético-PR getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jacinto Valadares hit a great ball. Eulalio Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anxo Maestro in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Aritz Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Valadares hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Bernabel Lama was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Aritz Morales made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Villawalter City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Deulofeu to maneuver through the defense. J.P. España stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyprian Rykaczewski's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Cyprian Rykaczewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Villawalter City's zone, Cyprian Rykaczewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. J.P. España came out of the goal and Cyprian Rykaczewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. J.P. España showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Rykaczewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. J.P. España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz da Cunha in the 71st minute of the match. If Lauro Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute of the match, Aritz Morales tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eulalio Montrel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cyprian Rykaczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without J.P. España having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyprian Rykaczewski in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg J.P. España saved Villawalter City from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sílvio Luiz da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético-PR's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luiz da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. J.P. España breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. J.P. España didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyprian Rykaczewski went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Villawalter City's J.P. España played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz da Cunha in the 96th minute of play. Villawalter City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
