Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domingos Vilarinho started the match with the kick off. Rodolfo Seabra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Rykaczewski in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Luiz da Cunha in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Seabra saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Sílvio Luiz da Cunha put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rodolfo Seabra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz da Cunha in the 9th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Rodolfo Seabra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyprian Rykaczewski in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Seabra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cyprian Rykaczewski sped through MEXACOMX's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Seabra. After 13 minutes, Cyprian Rykaczewski made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. MEXACOMX's Rodolfo Seabra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz da Cunha came free, but Rodolfo Seabra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyprian Rykaczewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rodolfo Seabra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Seabra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Aparecido in the 21st minute of play. Sílvio Luiz da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Atlético-PR fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Atlético-PR's Cyprian Rykaczewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodolfo Seabra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Domingos Vilarinho hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Belchior Conde. Atlético-PR's Cyprian Rykaczewski got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cyprian Rykaczewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rodolfo Seabra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Atlético-PR were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyprian Rykaczewski made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Cyprian Rykaczewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Seabra was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Nuno Candeias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Montrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Lauro Aparecido got a free kick in the 59th minute. Atlético-PR's Eulalio Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Camargo in the 62nd minute of play. Rodolfo Seabra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luiz da Cunha in the 64th minute. When Cyprian Rykaczewski fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético-PR's protests and gave Cyprian Rykaczewski a yellow card for diving instead. Cyprian Rykaczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Fabrício Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Leandro Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cyprian Rykaczewski struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Rodolfo Seabra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético-PR. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luiz da Cunha got free with Rodolfo Seabra in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilson Arantes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Nuno Candeias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyprian Rykaczewski in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Seabra saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. Atlético-PR's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
