Eulalio Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Luar in the 3rd minute of play. Benigno Silbestre made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Cyprian Rykaczewski sent off a good shot on target. Lauro Aparecido hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Ceferino Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Cyprian Rykaczewski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benigno Silbestre. The goal made the score 1-1. Lauro Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Beltxe during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vicente Beltxe hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Jacinto Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético-PR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Silbestre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyprian Rykaczewski in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Artizar made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda AFC's Aquilino Mon got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute, Ceferino Restu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Cyprian Rykaczewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Silbestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 64 minutes, Cyprian Rykaczewski made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Esmeralda AFC's Benigno Silbestre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67thth minute of the game Sílvio Luiz da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeralda AFC's Benigno Silbestre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Cyprian Rykaczewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Benigno Silbestre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lauro Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Atlético-PR booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes Atlético-PR got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Rykaczewski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Rykaczewski in the 83rd minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Benigno Silbestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Atlético-PR booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Lauro Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeralda AFC's Benigno Silbestre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sílvio Luiz da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Atlético-PR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Luiz da Cunha couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Cyprian Rykaczewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Silbestre. Esmeralda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyprian Rykaczewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Atlético-PR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
