One of Esmeralda AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villawalter City:s goal. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Villawalter City. Bernabel Lama stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benigno Silbestre. 1-2. Ceferino Restu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Esmeralda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andoitz Mendez came free, but Benigno Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villawalter City's J.P. España proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Villawalter City from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Gerald Deulofeu made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Silbestre. Esmeralda AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aritz Morales was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Villawalter City booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Hermelando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda AFC's Melquiades Lamberto got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Esmeralda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Mon. Esmeralda AFC's Benigno Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andoitz Mendez in the 58th minute of play. Benigno Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aritz Morales in the 60th minute of play. Benigno Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aritz Morales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aritz Morales got free with Benigno Silbestre in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, Anxo Maestro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Benigno Silbestre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benigno Silbestre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anxo Maestro went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the game, Anxo Maestro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Benigno Silbestre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute of the match Melquiades Lamberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but J.P. España showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benigno Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anxo Maestro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Esmeralda AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Villawalter City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
