After a defensive mix-up in Jardim América FC's zone, Ronaldinho de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Ramos came out of the goal and Ronaldinho de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Mangueira came free, but David Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Flávio Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Jorginho Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardim América FC's Luan Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Jardim América FC from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Luan Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho de Amaral. The supporters of Internazionale-RS booed when Jardim América FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance. Jorginho Soares struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Luan Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internazionale-RS. Zé Paulo Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorginho Soares made a kick off. David Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Mangueira in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Jardim América FC booed when Internazionale-RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Jorginho Soares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internazionale-RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 73 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dino de Toledo came free, but Luan Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enio Mangueira's late challenge caught a Internazionale-RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enio Mangueira helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 75 minutes, Jorginho Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internazionale-RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Ronaldinho de Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Luan Ramos. Jardim América FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Jorginho Soares came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Internazionale-RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Soares couldn't finish the play. Tomás Mazza hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Flávio Netto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luan Ramos skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Jardim América FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Tomás Mazza hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Horácio Oliveira in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jardim América FC's Nico Rossi.
