Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Oshyros ll's Elpidio Mercurio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Luís Fabiano Branco fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A A Arizona's protests and gave Luís Fabiano Branco a yellow card for diving instead. 4 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goalkeeper Rodolfo Siqueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigio Anaya. Aureliano Perico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oshyros ll's Aureliano Perico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Freire in the 11th minute of play. Aureliano Perico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Paranaense in the 14th minute of play. Aureliano Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Prudencio Hulberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Manuel Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Perico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Valério Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oshyros ll's Aureliano Perico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Fabiano Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Perico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fabiano Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 32 minutes, Valério Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A A Arizona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes, Manuel Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A A Arizona and the Oshyros ll players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Valério Paranaense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A A Arizona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 42 played minutes Oshyros ll got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Rayman. After 44 minutes of play, A A Arizona's Valério Paranaense made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliano Perico was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Paranaense to make the kick off. Aureliano Perico came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by A A Arizona's Valério Paranaense. But to his dismay, Valério Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when Oshyros ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valério Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Perico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valério Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodolfo Siqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Mercurio went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Manuel Monteiro was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of A A Arizona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oshyros ll:s goal. Vinicio Llanos placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Chicão Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oshyros ll's goalkeeper Aureliano Perico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Luís Bertassi scored 1-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Perico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chicão Freire hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Luís Fabiano Branco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Perico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, A A Arizona's Chicão Freire got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Umea during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Cayetano Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 minutes, Prudencio Hulberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oshyros ll and the A A Arizona players grew even worse after the yellow card.
