Oshyros ll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Mitre the free kick. A collision led to Oshyros ll getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Justo Heli hit a great ball. In the 4th match minute, Oshyros ll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Umea to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Isaac Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oshyros ll's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Montez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Americo Jerardo. If Mariano Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Muno kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Remigio Anaya struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Roman Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oshyros ll. Villa Mitre's Roman Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre from getting a goal against them. When Americo Jerardo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. Benjamin Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Jax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Isaac Saturnin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Montez. Villa Mitre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Saturnin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mariano Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benjamin Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oshyros ll's Jacinto Muno got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hipolito Corderro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamin Lobo. Oshyros ll's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elpidio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes, Jacinto Muno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oshyros ll and the Villa Mitre players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when Oshyros ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Muno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oshyros ll fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Villa Mitre a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hipolito Corderro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Oshyros ll's Benjamin Lobo. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Elpidio Mercurio made the kick off in the second half. Isaac Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elpidio Mercurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Remigio Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oshyros ll's Benjamin Lobo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Oshyros ll from getting a goal against them. Remigio Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Roman Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Jax kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Lobo. That made the score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. A collision led to Oshyros ll getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Vinicio Llanos hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes, Villa Mitre's Hipolito Corderro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjamin Lobo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Mitre reached it. Elpidio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Villa Mitre's Mariano Jax nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Lobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Villa Mitre's Roman Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Anaya in the 88th minute of play. Isaac Saturnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Roman Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Villa Mitre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
