The referee ignored ERGOTELIS's protests and gave Thomas Psaris a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tirant lo Blanch's Pelayo Valdivia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llorienzo Lama in the 10th minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Panos Drambas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Llorienzo Lama made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Nikos Savakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eriberto Segura, 1-1. Lefteris Kaligeros hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Psaris. Eriberto Segura made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Grigoris Maras sent off a good shot on target. Ivón Barroso's late challenge caught a ERGOTELIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivón Barroso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ivón Barroso hit a great ball. Eriberto Segura made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Grigoris Maras sent off a good shot on target. Tirant lo Blanch's Eriberto Segura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Tirant lo Blanch from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Tirant lo Blanch's zone, Kostas Makrodimitris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Segura came out of the goal and Kostas Makrodimitris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes, Tirant lo Blanch's Gai Alavedra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panos Drambas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tirant lo Blanch reached it. After a defensive mix-up in ERGOTELIS's zone, Llorienzo Lama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panos Drambas came out of the goal and Llorienzo Lama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anestis Kapsimalis came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the ERGOTELIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anestis Kapsimalis couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the game, Nikos Savakis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tirant lo Blanch's Pelayo Valdivia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tirant lo Blanch succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though ERGOTELIS had controlled the match.
