Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Iosif Creangã started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vadim Macovei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llorienzo Lama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Llorienzo Lama came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Tirant lo Blanch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llorienzo Lama couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, Llorienzo Lama notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Truseni's Vadim Macovei. Vadim Macovei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Giner. Domeka Talavera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Dadu in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Mihail Cepoi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sandu Perju charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandu Perju the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Perju. Vadim Macovei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llorienzo Lama in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Llorienzo Lama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domeka Talavera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Creangã in the 32nd minute. In the 42nd match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Segura to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Dadu in the 47th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Domeka Talavera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Truseni players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tirant lo Blanch were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Llorienzo Lama stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Giner hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llorienzo Lama to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Pelayo Valdivia hit a great ball. Vadim Macovei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llorienzo Lama in the 72nd minute of play. When Sandu Perju was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. Sandu Perju kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Cepoi. Mergildo Pascua took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vadim Macovei. FC Truseni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Truseni lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
