Bartlomiej Pryla charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartlomiej Pryla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SHADOW getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bartlomiej Pryla hit a great ball. SHADOW's Adam Fikus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson de Senna in the 7th minute of play. Zbigniew Dobrzechowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Manuel Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itajaí Football Club's protests and gave Manuel Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Itajaí Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pinho. A collision led to Itajaí Football Club getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Norberto Abreu hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Jakub Domaracki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHADOW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Domaracki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Luís Fabiano Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Fikus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, SHADOW's Pawel Rzegotka made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christiano Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Fabiano Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Adam Fikus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Fikus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jailson de Senna went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jailson de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Adam Fikus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Luís Fabiano Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Fikus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jailson de Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Fikus was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jailson de Senna was the one to do the kick off. Jailson de Senna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Adam Fikus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílton dos Santos got free with Adam Fikus in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Amílton dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 64th minute of the match Manuel Pinho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Manuel Pinho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 65th match minute, Itajaí Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Pinho to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Adam Fikus managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Itajaí Football Club's Amílton dos Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amílton dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Adam Fikus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itajaí Football Club. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jailson de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itajaí Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Jailson de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Fikus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luís Paulo de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jailson de Senna in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Fikus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, SHADOW's Adam Fikus got control of the ball when Amílton dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christiano Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Dobrzechowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Paulo de Castro during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itajaí Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Itajaí Football Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
