After a rather tough play, Bayern Boliviano's Paquito Abello got a free kick in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Amílton dos Santos sped through Bayern Boliviano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurken Abalos. 10 minutes into the game, Itajaí Football Club's Jailson de Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurken Abalos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aurken Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Aurken Abalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jailson de Senna's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Manuel Pinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bayern Boliviano's Aurken Abalos did a great save. When Amílton dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Itajaí Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton dos Santos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson de Senna in the 23rd minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Aurken Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurken Abalos came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Itajaí Football Club's Juarês Gerber. But to his dismay, Juarês Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 29 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Corrêa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Aurken Abalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson de Senna in the 35th minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Aurken Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onofre Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Amílton dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurken Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurken Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson de Senna in the 39th minute of play. Aurken Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson de Senna in the 40th minute of the match. Bayern Boliviano's Aurken Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson de Senna in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Corrêa in the 43rd minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Aurken Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurken Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson de Senna to make the kick off. Luís Fabiano Corrêa scored 0-5 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurken Abalos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hilario Abeitia charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Bayern Boliviano booed when Itajaí Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tonio Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Corrêa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 70th playminute. Aurken Abalos made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Túlio Jacinto sent off a good shot on target. When Luís Fabiano Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Itajaí Football Club fans jumped to their feet. When Bertran Abello fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Boliviano's protests and gave Bertran Abello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th play minute Jailson de Senna came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aurken Abalos. 0-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Pinho during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Jailson de Senna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurken Abalos. The goal made the score 0-8. Aurken Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayern Boliviano's Aurken Abalos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Boliviano from getting a goal against them. Paquito Abello hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Itajaí Football Club played a much better game than Bayern Boliviano and deserved their victory. The Bayern Boliviano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
