Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arturo Acevedo kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes SOUTH THUNDER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giovanni Pirani who took care of the corner kick. Giovanni Pirani made a great header on TRAKINAS FC's corner, it was just that SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo managed to reach the ball for a save. Mauro Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Peres in the 6th minute of the match. Esteban Goiz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Arturo Acevedo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Danilo Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOUTH THUNDER. Santiago Tome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Salles in the 20th minute of play. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Salles in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Isidoro Godoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Danilo Mello however easily saved by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Isidoro Godoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Mello. TRAKINAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Godoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mauro Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Salles in the 31st minute of the match. With his leg Danilo Mello managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when SOUTH THUNDER's Santiago Tome fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Germán Pezzella got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Tostão Salles notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo. Mauro Cordearo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Juan Matia hit a great ball. After 46 minutes, Juan Matia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOUTH THUNDER and the TRAKINAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Juan Matia. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 51st match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Matia to maneuver through the defense. TRAKINAS FC's Danilo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Godoy in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Isidoro Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Peres. In the 60th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Pezzella to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Godoy struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Danilo Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOUTH THUNDER. 66 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Arturo Acevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danilo Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when TRAKINAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match, Vítor Peres got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauro Cordearo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vítor Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Mauro Cordearo made a huge save. Danilo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Matia in the 77th minute of play. SOUTH THUNDER's Isidoro Godoy got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to TRAKINAS FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Albertinho Fernandes hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Tostão Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Peres got free with Mauro Cordearo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in TRAKINAS FC's zone, Arturo Acevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Mello came out of the goal and Arturo Acevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SOUTH THUNDER's Isidoro Godoy got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Linhares. Gernando Gerber hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
