Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isidoro Godoy made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Road To Glory got a freekick which was hit by Justino Raulo. Arnaldo Theodore's late challenge caught a Road To Glory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Theodore helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Theodore. Isidoro Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Calixto having to interfere. Tomás Calixto came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Isidoro Godoy. But to his dismay, Isidoro Godoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Road To Glory's Justino Raulo got his second yellow card of the match in the 14th minute. The referee ordered Justino Raulo off the ground. After a rather tough play, Road To Glory's Justino Raulo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Silvestre Maldonado struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tomás Calixto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOUTH THUNDER. In the 25th minute, Arturo Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Arturo Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Silvestre Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Calixto came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Silvestre Maldonado. But to his dismay, Silvestre Maldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Arnaldo Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SOUTH THUNDER's Silvestre Maldonado got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tomás Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvestre Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Gaizko to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes, Road To Glory's Simon Leoncio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Road To Glory reached it. Godofredo Iturri hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Silvestre Maldonado came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Maldonado couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Arturo Acevedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arturo Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arturo Acevedo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Acevedo couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Road To Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Maldonado came free, but Tomás Calixto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Roque Gaizko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Cordearo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Road To Glory booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Theodore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Arturo Acevedo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto. Tomás Calixto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th match minute, Road To Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Atauri to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Acevedos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Tomás Calixto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, Esteban Goiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Road To Glory getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mariano Olayo hit a great ball. Hipolito Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Tomás Calixto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Germán Pezzella. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SOUTH THUNDER had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
