SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joel Rumaldo 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Joel Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Endura was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Nerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Guillelmo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Figueroa. Germán Pezzella struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Joaquin Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOUTH THUNDER. 27 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Rumaldo came free, but Desiderio Endura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Endura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Rumaldo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Rumaldo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Endura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Rumaldo came free, but Desiderio Endura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Acevedo in the 31st minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Albino Maties got a free kick in the 41st minute. Joel Rumaldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Desiderio Endura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Rumaldo was the one to do the kick off. Desiderio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Rumaldo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Goiz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sportivo Luan Toro's Joaquin Mingo got control of the ball when Zeledon Teofilio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artemio Tibalt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Quintan during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Edgard Quintan got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Sportivo Luan Toro's Joel Rumaldo in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Quintan came free, but Joaquin Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Germán Pezzella got a free kick in the 68th minute. Desiderio Endura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Modestio in the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Modestio during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sportivo Luan Toro getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ramiro Modestio hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Joel Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Endura was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, SOUTH THUNDER's Edgard Quintan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Artemio Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Rumaldo in the 87th minute of play. Artemio Tibalt hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Germán Pezzella put in a rough tackle. After a defensive mix-up in SOUTH THUNDER's zone, Ramiro Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Endura came out of the goal and Ramiro Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sportivo Luan Toro players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
