Willian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Presebal in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Road To Glory's Jorge Presebal got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Duarte in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Calixto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Presebal in the 70th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Road To Glory's Jonathan Beltran made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomás Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Cearense to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Ireno in the 92nd minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Road To Glory could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Morro Grande E.C throughout the match.
