In the 2nd match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Quintan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Isidoro Godoy got a free kick in the 4th minute. Enzo Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Calvet during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Jaime Calvet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for SOUTH THUNDER. Germán Pezzella stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomás Quintun. 0-1. Tomás Quintun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Acevedo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Arturo Acevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebio Jobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Tancredo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Viento Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Fertus to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Arturo Acevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Quintun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half SOUTH THUNDER were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eriberto Fertus was the one to do the kick off. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Fertus in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Juan Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Endura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Jobo in the 58th minute of the match. Eusebio Jobo took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Endura. Desiderio Endura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Viento Norte FC booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Feliberto Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Endura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Viento Norte FC's zone, Isidoro Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Quintun came out of the goal and Isidoro Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viento Norte FC's Tomás Quintun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Godoy in the 69th minute of play. If Eriberto Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Feliberto Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Endura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Elodio in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes in the game, Isidoro Godoy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tomás Quintun having to interfere. Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isidoro Godoy 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Edgard Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Eusebio Jobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Germán Pezzella got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Viento Norte FC's Eriberto Fertus in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal. If Feliberto Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SOUTH THUNDER were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Viento Norte FC's much stronger midfield.
