Spectators: 7577 (Terracing: 5683, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tostão Salles kicked off to start the match. Danilo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Åström in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the TRAKINAS FC defense, Eddie Flinck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Mello. The TRAKINAS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Mello should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Eddie Flinck took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Mello. Danilo Mello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 12th minute, Sixten Åström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Digital Monsterz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 15th minute Eddie Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Digital Monsterz FC's zone, Waldir Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Skarkman came out of the goal and Waldir Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tostão Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Tostão Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRAKINAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, TRAKINAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Pirani to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Ivar Berglund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Mello skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute Eddie Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Digital Monsterz FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jens-Erik Giöck hit a great ball. The Digital Monsterz FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Digital Monsterz FC's Jens-Erik Giöck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Danilo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Flinck in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Digital Monsterz FC's Jens-Erik Giöck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Mello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Åström came free, but Danilo Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Jakob Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Digital Monsterz FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gunnar Vassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddie Flinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Danilo Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sven-Edvin Hamberg fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Digital Monsterz FC's protests and gave Sven-Edvin Hamberg a yellow card for diving instead. Sven-Edvin Hamberg kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Sixten Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digital Monsterz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Vassenius in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Edmundo Linhares got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to TRAKINAS FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gernando Gerber hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Ivar Berglund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Mello skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Tostão Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRAKINAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Salles. With an all-out effort, Digital Monsterz FC's Danilo Mello threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sixten Åström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eddie Flinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TRAKINAS FC's Danilo Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save TRAKINAS FC from getting a goal against them. The Digital Monsterz FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Digital Monsterz FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
