Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luisinho Silva took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomás Calixto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego de Azevedo in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Ireno in the 6th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Clóvis Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Morro Grande E.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonathan Beltran fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tomás Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Luisinho Silva's late challenge caught a Road To Glory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisinho Silva helped the player get up and apologised. Luisinho Silva hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Road To Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Jonathan Beltran made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Morro Grande E.C's Clóvis Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Beltran's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Clóvis Motta firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jonathan Beltran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Clóvis Motta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristian Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Clóvis Motta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Justino Raulo. When Jorge Presebal came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Road To Glory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Presebal couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Beltran was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Iturri during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Road To Glory's Godofredo Iturri got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ireno came free, but Clóvis Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Road To Glory defense, Luisinho Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Calixto. The Road To Glory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Calixto should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Beltran came free, but Clóvis Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Morro Grande E.C's zone, Jonathan Beltran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Motta came out of the goal and Jonathan Beltran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, Javier Atauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Road To Glory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morro Grande E.C the free kick. After 69 played minutes Road To Glory got a freekick which was hit by Javier Atauri. Clóvis Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Beltran in the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Road To Glory getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Emilio Ireno hit a great ball. In the 83rd play minute Diego de Azevedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tomás Calixto. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Beltran in the 91st minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Clóvis Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Beltran struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Clóvis Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Road To Glory.
