Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Horea Raicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Fc Gheraseni from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Rayland FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Beltxe Gainza hit a great ball. With a little luck, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Horea Raicu got control of the ball when Primo Peramato tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Verzea to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, Rayland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brion Tubia to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Rayland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Bărbat came free, but Erauso Septiem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Moldoveanu in the 20th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Erauso Septiem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brion Tubia's late challenge caught a -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brion Tubia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brion Tubia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Rayland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Verzea came free, but Erauso Septiem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes, Eusebiu Ostoici mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni and the Rayland FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primo Peramato in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horea Raicu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Primo Peramato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Frisco Villegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Rayland FC got a freekick which was hit by Mitxel Botas. After a defensive mix-up in Rayland FC's zone, Alin Moldoveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erauso Septiem came out of the goal and Alin Moldoveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Verzea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Fabian Verzea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erauso Septiem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Horea Raicu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 60 played minutes Rayland FC got a freekick which was hit by Mitxel Botas. In the 82nd minute Primo Peramato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Raicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
