After having played for 6 minutes, Tulio Saura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandrake fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tulio Saura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Enrique Lemus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elar Quero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Canton in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Fabio Rallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elar Quero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mandrake fc's Elar Quero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Canton in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Paulino Huguet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berdaitz Valcarcel charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berdaitz Valcarcel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berdaitz Valcarcel hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Taltum FC's Rafael Ilardia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Coira in the 31st minute of play. Rafael Ilardia made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tulio Saura sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Mandrake fc booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mandrake fc's Millán Revuelta got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elar Quero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Canton went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Taltum FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Jimeno Naranjo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Naranjo came free, but Rafael Ilardia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Paulino Huguet suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Mellington Aniego charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mellington Aniego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Mellington Aniego. In the 55th minute, Jimeno Naranjo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when Mandrake fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Armada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Rallo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Elar Quero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jimeno Naranjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rafael Ilardia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mandrake fc getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Saul Coira hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tulio Saura came free, but Rafael Ilardia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Mandrake fc's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Rallo came free, but Elar Quero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Ilardia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Naranjo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duardo Reyes in the 89th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Rafael Ilardia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tulio Saura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geofredo Jurado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xinaro Cerdeira to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Fabio Rallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elar Quero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Ilardia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Naranjo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taltum FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mandrake fc's much stronger midfield.
