In the 5th match minute, S.E. Pindorama Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Falcão to maneuver through the defense. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Aga Cuarto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Franciszek Witwicki in the 10 minute of the game. The supporters of S.E. Pindorama Eagles booed when GKS Milenium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Gozdowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, GKS Milenium's Franciszek Witwicki got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Mário de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Gualter Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mário de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Waldemar Rybak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waclaw Cupial made a kick off. The supporters of GKS Milenium booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Schmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waclaw Cupial's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 61st match minute, S.E. Pindorama Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Gualter Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Aparecido in the 68th minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Waldemar Rybak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GKS Milenium booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Rybak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário de Azevedo in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, GKS Milenium's Andrzej Gozdowski got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Mário de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Waldemar Rybak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Pindorama Eagles. In the 82nd match minute, GKS Milenium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Gozdowski to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Rybak made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Virgílio Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Mário de Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Rybak having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aga Cuarto got free with Waldemar Rybak in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldemar Rybak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded S.E. Pindorama Eagles left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GKS Milenium.
