Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Mala FC's Washington Berger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Mala FC booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Washington Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Caetano Mattos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Bob Chute cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vladimir Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bob Chute took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Neves. Vladimir Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 22nd play minutes Cássio Motta shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Vladimir Neves and just under the crossbar into goal. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Chute in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Misericordia EC's Bob Chute made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 31 minutes, Bob Chute made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Bob Chute made a precise shot to the right of Vladimir Neves. Mala FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Vladimir Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Chute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Chute in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Mala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Chute came free, but Vladimir Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Mala FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Misericordia EC were winning 0-9.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bob Chute stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Chute in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Mala FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bob Chute. Bob Chute received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladimir Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Bob Chute slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 55th minute. Mala FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Bob Chute scored to the left of an out of position Vladimir Neves, making the score, 0-11. Vladimir Neves made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Bob Chute sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Mala FC's Vladimir Neves got control of the ball when Cássio Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Clemente Meira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vladimir Neves, 0-12. Vladimir Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Chute, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Bob Chute's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Neves was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Bob Chute did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-13 to the left of a surprised Vladimir Neves 82 minutes into the match. Vladimir Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Chute's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Bob Chute in the 86th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Vladimir Neves kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-14 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Ian Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Neves having to interfere.
