A wasted opportunity for Mala FC. 16 minutes into the game, Christiano de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mala FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Pindorama Eagles the free kick. After 16 played minutes Mala FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano de Souza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário de Azevedo in the 20th minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mala FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Laerte da Mata hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Laerte da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mala FC's zone, Mário de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Neves came out of the goal and Mário de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gualter Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of S.E. Pindorama Eagles booed when Mala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuta Le Van struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Vladimir Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Pindorama Eagles. Júlio Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Berger in the 88th minute of the match. S.E. Pindorama Eagles were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mala FC to leave the ground with a draw.
