UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário de Azevedo in the 14th minute of play. Rey Cerezuela was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Aga Cuarto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aga Cuarto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 21 played minutes UD ZAS got a freekick which was hit by Texeira Magdalena. Ugaitz Camara struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Júlio Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD ZAS. In the 29th minute, Mário de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário de Azevedo got free with Rey Cerezuela in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 34 minutes, Mário de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes UD ZAS got a freekick which was hit by Texeira Magdalena. In the 42nd minute of the match Gualter Aparecido sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rey Cerezuela skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of S.E. Pindorama Eagles booed when UD ZAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Cimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Checa Lloreda made the kick off in the second half. UD ZAS's Ugaitz Camara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gualter Aparecido in the 57 minute of the game. Rey Cerezuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário de Azevedo in the 60th minute of play. Moreta Vadillos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio Cunha during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Virgílio Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rey Cerezuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes UD ZAS got a freekick which was hit by Texeira Magdalena. Texeira Magdalena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Júlio Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aga Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rey Cerezuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans cheered their team off the field, for while UD ZAS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
