S.E. Pindorama Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Misericordia EC the free kick. In the 16th match minute, S.E. Pindorama Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Donatello to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Júlio Schmidt got control of the ball when Bob Chute tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diogo Neiva's late challenge caught a S.E. Pindorama Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tostão Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, S.E. Caetano Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Júlio Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo José Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tostão Domingues sent off a good shot on target. Caetano Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Júlio Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Motta in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Tiaguinho Freitas got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tostão Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tostão Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Domingues. Caetano Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 1-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Bob Chute elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luís Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Cássio Motta put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio Schmidt. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.E. Pindorama Eagles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Misericordia EC.
