With an all-out effort, Misericordia EC's Waldemar Rybak threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diogo Neiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andrzej Makarewicz's late challenge caught a Misericordia EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrzej Makarewicz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Misericordia EC. Bob Chute stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Waldemar Rybak. 1-0. After a rather tough play, GKS Milenium's Stanislaw Paraszczuk got a free kick in the 14th minute. GKS Milenium's Waldemar Rybak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Milenium from getting a goal against them. When GKS Milenium's Waclaw Cupial in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Waldemar Rybak made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cássio Motta sent off a good shot on target. Waldemar Rybak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Chute's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute of the match, Diogo Neiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Waldemar Rybak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Waldemar Rybak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Chute, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo Neiva in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Rybak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When Cássio Motta came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Misericordia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Motta couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Mattos during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Caetano Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Motta in the 61st minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Waldemar Rybak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Mattos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Rybak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Waldemar Rybak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Neiva in the 66th minute of play. Andrzej Makarewicz was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Andrzej Makarewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Bob Chute took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Rybak. Waldemar Rybak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Bob Chute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Diogo Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Rybak. GKS Milenium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Mattos in the 81st minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Waldemar Rybak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Rybak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Cássio Motta scored 6-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Rybak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GKS Milenium's Waldemar Rybak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Motta in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Bob Chute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Rybak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Misericordia EC fully deserved thier win.
