A collision led to Edson Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Guilherme Tavares hit a great ball. Richard Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The referee showed Lucas Farias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lucas Farias hit a great ball. Florentino Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Luz having to interfere. In the 30th minute Tigre were awarded a corner. Eriberto Benet went to the cornerflag to take it. 31 minutes into the match, Tigre's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Barros came free, but Rogelio Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tigre defense, Enéas Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Gaur. The Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Gaur should have stopped the shot. Enéas Barros took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Gaur. Rogelio Gaur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Enéas Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edson Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Virila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Edson Futebol Clube booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Benet was slow to take the kick. During this time Tigre's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Florentino Henric managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rogelio Gaur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enéas Barros's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Tigre's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Barros came free, but Rogelio Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Edson Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Nataniel came free, but Richard Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Aguiar hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Enéas Barros could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Rogelio Gaur however easily saved by the left post. The Tigre fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Edson Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
