Hélder Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Virila in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Florentino Henric ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder Severo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the game, São José City - FSCMZ's Roger Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Gaur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. São José City - FSCMZ's Hélder Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Nataniel in the 58th minute of play. Hélder Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Bittor, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Roger Costa notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Tigre's Rogelio Gaur. Rogelio Gaur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teofilo Virila in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hélder Severo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Nataniel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hélder Severo. That made the score 3-5 in the 76 minute of play. Florentino Henric took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélder Severo. Hélder Severo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-6. Rogelio Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Costa in the 96th minute of play. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Edgardo Virila hit a great ball. Roger Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Gaur having to interfere.
