The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ionel Zărnescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Quintana's late challenge caught a FCSB CUENCA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Quintana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, 【E ➣VERON 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Amaya to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Senon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Solo in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FCSB CUENCA fully deserved thier win.
