Inocencio Shepherd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Plauto Urbina came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FCSB CUENCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Plauto Urbina couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Zărnescu in the 27th minute of play forced LanParty's goalkeeper Victorino Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FCSB CUENCA's Agapito Blanco got control of the ball when Bernardino Efraim tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, LanParty's goal looked a bit too open when Ugutz Jubera came free, but Victorino Umea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardino Efraim made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Zărnescu to maneuver through the defense. The LanParty manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing FCSB CUENCA to win.
