To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Emiliano Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demetrio Walcher. When Honorato Olayo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guns And Roses's protests and gave Honorato Olayo a yellow card for diving instead. Honorato Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Guns And Roses's Cristo Domenec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Cordeal in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute David Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelito Demaria struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Emiliano Sancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guns And Roses. The Manfredi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Sancho should have stopped the shot.
