The Carabata Groove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Ihazintu should have stopped the shot. Albano Erruki hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Taurino in the 27th minute of play forced Guns And Roses's goalkeeper Cristo Domenec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Ihazintu having to interfere. Amador Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Theodore made a kick off. Nereo Ihazintu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Jurdan went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Rosendo Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Domenec. Guns And Roses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After 78 minutes of play, Guns And Roses's Angelito Demaria made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Ihazintu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristo Domenec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Arnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Nereo Ihazintu was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and David Theodore capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Theodore really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Guns And Roses's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
