Thanks to some nice moves Ariel Burko could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Rui Souto however easily saved by the left post. Luciano Gipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Souto having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Edson Favoretto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Talleres's Albino Nofre. Albino Nofre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Ariel Burko sped through Arsenal MGK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rui Souto. Rui Souto was a little too slow when Adolfo Diaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 4-1. Rui Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Burko in the 26th minute. Ariel Burko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Rui Souto made a huge save. Arsenal MGK's Rui Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal MGK from getting a goal against them. Luciano Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rui Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. Rui Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Diaz in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Gipuzkoa in the 44th minute of play forced Arsenal MGK's goalkeeper Rui Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Souto was a little too slow when Adolfo Diaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 6-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Burko to make the kick off. Luciano Gipuzkoa charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Gipuzkoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Gipuzkoa. Arsenal MGK's Rui Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Burko in the 53rd minute of play. Ariel Burko succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-1. After some careless play in the Arsenal MGK defense, Ariel Burko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Souto. The Arsenal MGK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Souto should have stopped the shot. Luciano Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Rui Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ariel Burko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal MGK's Rui Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adolfo Diaz took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Souto. Rui Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. Adolfo Diaz scored 10-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Souto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Ariel Burko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Souto was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Prospero Oriche got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Diaz. 83 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Vasconcelos came free, but Albino Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Fidele. Luciano Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Talleres's goalkeeper Albino Nofre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgílio dos Santos. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Talleres had played much better football throughout.
