Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jarl Eckegren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ted Lund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Edvard Fågel made a huge save. Edvard Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Lundgren in the 4th minute of play. Billy Lindström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. Mosjö Sportklubb's Rune Sander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Löfgren in the 8th minute of play. Tommy Dalgren kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Arne Lund. When Emanuel Vedholm fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Med Gang FC's protests and gave Emanuel Vedholm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute Jarl Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Sander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Dalgren. Med Gang FC's Edvard Fågel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Med Gang FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Eckegren in the 31st minute of play forced Mosjö Sportklubb's goalkeeper Rune Sander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Ted Lund notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Med Gang FC's Edvard Fågel. Edvard Fågel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Mosjö Sportklubb's Stig-Arne Classon got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Stolpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Åke Rönn hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Folke Isaksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kennet Lundgren took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvard Fågel. Edvard Fågel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Rune Sander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Löfgren in the 59th minute of the match. Leif Stolpe's late challenge caught a Med Gang FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Stolpe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mosjö Sportklubb getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Leif Stolpe hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes, Med Gang FC's Tommy Dalgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rune Sander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Med Gang FC reached it. In the 71st match minute, Mosjö Sportklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Classon came free, but Edvard Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Ted Lund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edvard Fågel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edvard Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 95th minute, Harry Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
