Edvard Fågel was a little too slow when Bengt Abrahamsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Med Gang FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tommy Dalgren hit a great ball. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Med Gang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Sundberg came free, but Edvard Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Med Gang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvard Fågel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bengt Abrahamsson. Edvard Fågel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bengt Abrahamsson. After a rather tough play, Med Gang FC's Kjell Zachrisson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Bengt Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Med Gang FC's Per-Åke Rönn got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to Med Gang FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sven-Arne Lund hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match, Gustav Sundberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvard Fågel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edvard Fågel made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Bengt Abrahamsson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Sledgehammer KO's Bengt Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute, Kjell Zachrisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Gustav Sundberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sledgehammer KO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Edvard Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Edvard Fågel made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Abrahamsson got free with Edvard Fågel in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt Abrahamsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edvard Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pontus Törnqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ragnar Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvard Fågel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt Abrahamsson went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Gottfrid Ivarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvard Fågel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Med Gang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. Edvard Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pontus Törnqvist in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Med Gang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Bengt Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sledgehammer KO's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvard Fågel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Axelsson during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Med Gang FC's Harry Axelsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Pontus Törnqvist notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Med Gang FC's Edvard Fågel. Edvard Fågel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th match minute, Med Gang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes, Sledgehammer KO's Bengt Abrahamsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvard Fågel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sledgehammer KO reached it. In the 91st match minute, Sledgehammer KO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Wikander to maneuver through the defense. Edvard Fågel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt Abrahamsson went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Sledgehammer KO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
