Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bengt Abrahamsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Sledgehammer KO got a freekick which was hit by Ian Lindström. In the 13th minute, Alfredas Pakintis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Bengt Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sledgehammer KO's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kipras Gelžinis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kipras Gelžinis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Sledgehammer KO's Bengt Abrahamsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kipras Gelžinis was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Lithuanian amber getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kęstutis Jakubauskas hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredas Pakintis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Bengt Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sledgehammer KO's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kipras Gelžinis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pontus Törnqvist came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sledgehammer KO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Törnqvist couldn't finish the play. Kipras Gelžinis came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Sledgehammer KO's Bengt Abrahamsson. But to his dismay, Bengt Abrahamsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Torsten Hedlund put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Lithuanian amber booed when Sledgehammer KO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Lithuanian amber's Sonny Holm threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daugirdas Čižiūnas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Henry Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sledgehammer KO getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bengt Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Eligijus Kavaliūnas might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Holm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eligijus Kavaliūnas ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eligijus Kavaliūnas to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Ian Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sledgehammer KO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Marius Naujokas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustav Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Kipras Gelžinis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sledgehammer KO. After some careless play in the Sledgehammer KO defense, Eligijus Kavaliūnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Holm. The Sledgehammer KO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Holm should have stopped the shot. Remigijus Damijonas scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Holm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 82 minutes, Pontus Törnqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sledgehammer KO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Törnqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Lithuanian amber's Kipras Gelžinis got control of the ball when Gustav Sundberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sonny Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eligijus Kavaliūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sledgehammer KO defense, Eligijus Kavaliūnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Holm. The Sledgehammer KO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Holm should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Lithuanian amber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigijus Damijonas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lithuanian amber fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sledgehammer KO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
